The Aravalli Range is not vacant land to be cleared—it is North India’s natural shield against desertification, extreme heat, air pollution, and water crisis. Cutting trees in Aravalli will directly impact Delhi-NCR and nearby regions by increasing heatwaves, worsening smog, lowering groundwater levels, and destroying wildlife habitats that have existed for millions of years. Development cannot be called progress if it weakens our climate security and public health. Roads and projects can be redesigned, but once forests are cut, they take generations to recover—if they recover at all. Protecting Aravalli is not an option, it is a responsibility for our present and future. Save Aravalli, save life.
